I designed this is a wonderful game for the bank where the user takes on the role of a father with limited money. Step by step he invests more and more with the son that will give him the most return for his future retirement! Employees compete to see who can get the highest RETIREMENT!
Wasatch Electric employees have to know when to use a respirator in many different situations to avoid a growing global concern of Silicosis damage to lungs. These employees had a great time in this Simulation seeing whose lungs can last the longest!

When companies like this send us their updated employee's investing data on a weekly basis, we must be able to handle it securely with no mistakes - yet this is a very lengthy process.
So I designed modules explaining how to handle the data screen by screen followed by a SIMULATION.
Putting learners in reletive scenarios to practice using presented information is some of the best ways to build motivatoin to learn and long term retention.
Especially during a recession, a bank only has so much money to loan. How do you teach Loan Officers the importance of giving that precious money to the clients with the best potential of paying it back?
In E-Trade's Corporate Services department we handle large accounts like Nike.
Offering a game instead of a test that simulated precision, time and detail created huge MOTIVATION!

Each time learners went through the simulation they could see where they needed to improve. Soon they could make it with not hints and in a competitive time to their coworkers. Months later they could still come back and achieve over 90% RETENTION!
Learners had to score perfectly in order for the Helicopter or Plane to complete its flight and land. Otherwise depending on their score all kinds of chaos could happen! The employees loved this training and productivity immediately jumped 17%!
The employee's effectiveness and precision in making the high performance aerospace cutting tools literally determined the flight worthiness of the final products AND our continued contracts from Boeing.
This Aerospace project was created in the 90's but is still one of my best achievements!
